IPDR & VoIP investigation
The participants will be provided with various case studies with simulation exercise involving IPDRs and the step action guide of the different ways to analyse them. A basic manual to understand the IPDR analysis along with step action of necessary steps to use tools and techniques for analysis of IPDR shall be prepared by the participants at the end of the course. Case studies for every module will be provided to the participants which will instil confidence in them for analysing the IPDRs immediately after undergoing this course.
Content
- Briefing on types of IPDR: Mobile number-based IPDR/GPRS, IP-based IPDR, Tower-based IPDR.
- Case Simulation involving analysis of mobile number-based IPDR, to locate the suspect.
- Case Simulation involving analysis of IP-based IPDR to identify the suspect's mobile number.
- Case Simulation involving the analysis of multiple IP-based IPDRs to identify the suspect's mobile number.
- SOP of investigation of VoIP calls / anonymized calls/SMS.
